Whilst on a weekend away & very hungover we actually headed back to the airport earlier than planned and with the spare time before my flight back home I decided to take a walk around the perimeter to this spot for some filming during the late afternoon / early evening. The lighting was pretty perfect. Lighting up the aircraft beautifully as they turn onto the runway and line up and the ones on approach. Quite a good mixture of airlines & aircraft in bag as well. As opposed to the often domination of just Ryanair and a sprinkle of Aer Lingus, this seemed a pretty good time of the day to go. 13 brilliant landings 12 ground shaking take offs!
